PAYDAY 2: Update 247.3 Changelog
Another round of fixes. We’re still looking into the performance issues from the v3 engine update, thank you for understanding and helping us in the bug report forums with all the information provided!
This update focuses on some small fixes along with some inventory cleanup to help with some mods removing items from inventories when being disabled. We’re developing a new cleanup system for inventories to not destroy items forever if you accidentally open your inventory with mods disabled but with all save data related changes we’re testing it thoroughly.
This is the first build on our new build automation so this will be larger than usual- future patches will be much smaller.
Added a special cleanup case for weapons to prevent modded charms from erasing the entire weapon if the charm stops existing – better late than never!
Note: Because of the limited information present in saves charms have the ID prefix wpn_fps_upg_charm_ and only modded charms that follow that naming scheme will clean up in this way, thankfully that is most weapon charm mods!
Fixed the “Aran G2" sniper rifle mistakenly not using skill based damage bonuses
Fixed some akimbo variants of some guns not using their respective stat boost mods
Fixed Kross Vertex SMG default sling mount vanishing
Fixed some graphical errors in the main menu background
Fixed meth cooking instructions being blurry when playing on lower texture quality
Fixed shadow when the roulette table is not present in Bonnie’s corner
Fixed more misc props having arbitrary lower texture quality
Fixed team Ai getting stuck above the elevator shaft if a peer leaves the lobby there
Fixed several bag stuck spots around the rooftop windows
Fixed the left side door not being openable ;)
Updates may be incompatible with the mods you may have installed. Even seemingly unrelated mods may cause unexpected issues. If you are experiencing any problems with the game; try removing any mods you may have installed and try again.
If you are having issues with an unmodded game you can try to verify the integrity of the game files. In the Steam library; right-click on PAYDAY 2. Select “Properties" from the menu. Under the tab “LOCAL FILES" select “VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES…". The process may take some time to finish.
