PAYDAY 2: Update 248.2 Changelog

Got another round of level adjustments mainly targeting the newly released Under the Hammer heist.

We’ve been trying to further improve performance as well as address some of the feedback on the level. There are still many areas around the map where performance dips heavily, which we are still investigating. 

• Fixed controller issues in the briefing menu

• Under the Hammer

  • Further improved optimization

  • Removed test button in the front car park

  • Raised the chances for IT to do their job in stealth

  • The vault ceiling can now be exploded early

  • Updated textures on some of the characters

  • Added a ding to the elevator door opening

  • Slightly increased the speed of the roof zipline from 115s to 100s

  • Reduced the interaction time on cover removals for the failsafe and puzzle

  • Fixed multiple achievements only being unlocked for the host

  • Fixed the fur coat auction item sometime spawning inside another item

  • Fixed a gage package that could spawn inside the ground on the roof

  • Fixed a gage package that could potentially spawn out of bounds on one side of the roof

  • Fixed the lead curator sometimes stopping inside a security guard

  • Fixed the keypad not being blocked by ECM jammers

  • Fixed a softlock when entering the wrong code in stealth

  • Fixed a softlock when the alarm was raised while the art piece was being scanned

• Alaskan Deal

  • Fixed Bain ruining the immersion of the ambush by counting down the start of the assault

• Breakin’ Feds

  • Fixed softlock after Garret enters his office for the second time

If you are having issues with an unmodded game you can try to verify the integrity of the game files. In the Steam library; right-click on PAYDAY 2. Select “Properties" from the menu. Under the tab “LOCAL FILES" select “VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES…". The process may take some time to finish.
