PAYDAY 2: Update 248 Changelog

• Added the option to change the output audio device

• Fixed a crash related to lootbags in VR

• Fixed mission ending dialog being delayed when the player has gone down multiple times

• Fixed a crash on the Epic Game Store when opening the “Edit Game Settings" menu in lobbies

Art Gallery/Framing Frame Day 1

• Adjusted culling portals to avoid vanishing props through a far away doorway when standing inside the storage room

• Fixed flamethrower firing sounds not stopping when tap firing

• Fixed enemy weapons being too loud

• Fixed missing gadget mounts when equipping “McShay Mod Pack" parts on the AK weapon group

• Arbiter Grenade Launcher

  • Increased basic fragmentation ammo damage to from 480 to 500 (This allows it to one-shot light swat on direct impact on higher difficulties)

• Commando 553 Rifle

  • Fixed using the incorrect skin pattern UVs when equipping the “Enhanced Grip"

Updates may be incompatible with the mods you may have installed. Even seemingly unrelated mods may cause unexpected issues. If you are experiencing any problems with the game; try removing any mods you may have installed and try again.

If you are having issues with an unmodded game you can try to verify the integrity of the game files. In the Steam library; right-click on PAYDAY 2. Select “Properties" from the menu. Under the tab “LOCAL FILES" select “VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES…". The process may take some time to finish.
